An assignment project for the "Field Recording" workshop at Institute of Sonology.

This release consists of 4 different mixes of an improvisation with a cheap "not working at all" cassette/radio player.

These mixes contain different combinations of recordings in 2 different places:

1- Room:

cassette player -> mixer -> 2 cheap computer speakers + bluetooth speaker

- the mixer output
- gopro video audio
- blue yeti omni
- binaural recording


2- Spuiplein near the construction site of the new conservatory (after the construction hours):

- binaural recording of playback of the mixer output -> portable bluetooth speaker
- binaural recording of feedbacks made with a smartphone app and bluetooth speaker
- Impulse response of the field (balloon pop)

If you download / buy the whole album, you will have access to all individual recordings + impulse response of the field and the feedback improvisation as bonus, so you can also remix the music freely with them or use them in your music anyway you want. Or just download them.
